Please read this document carefully. It explains the rules and expectations that apply when you use this website.
1. What we collect
When you register, we collect your email address and an irreversibly derived password hash. We also maintain session records needed to keep you signed in and limited security logs used to prevent abusive login attempts.
2. What we do not store
We do not store your plaintext password. This initial version does not include advertising trackers, sell personal information, or use account data for unrelated profiling.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, authenticate requests, secure the Site, respond to inquiries, comply with law, and communicate about Good Trouble Mayor when there is an appropriate legal basis or consent.
4. Storage and service providers
The Site is designed to run on Cloudflare Workers and store structured account data in Cloudflare D1. Infrastructure providers may process technical information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Retention
Account and session data is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Sessions expire automatically. Security records may be retained for a limited period to investigate abuse and protect the service.
6. Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by contacting hello@goodtroublemayor.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including salted password hashing, secure cookies, origin checks, rate limiting, and restricted database access. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Age restriction and changes
Good Trouble Mayor is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect account information from anyone under 18. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change and will revise the effective date when we do.
